Sign Up for an Account

Signing up for an account is fast and easy. By signing up, you will receive a free lifetime account and membership to cookinghub.com – a recipe, education, and social platform.

How to Sign Up

1. Locate and click on any “Join for Free” or “Sign Up” button.

  • High-resolution computers and tablets: In the top right corner.
  • Low-resolution computers and tablets: Under the menu button (orange with 3 lines).
  • Cell phones: Under the menu button (orange with 3 lines).
  • Or click here to start signing up.

This will open the Registration form.

3. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (links are included in the registration form) to make sure you agree with all the information and rules.

  • If you agree: Complete the form (your consent will be given later by clicking the Sign Up button).
  • If you disagree: Do not register and please leave the page.

4. Fill in all fields in the registration form, including your nickname and password.

  • Nickname requirements here.
  • Password requirements here.

5. Click the “Sign Up” button.

  • If all information is filled in properly, you will see a confirmation on the screen.
  • If not, update the information according to the instructions and click the Sign Up button again to see the confirmation.

6. Validate your profile by confirming your email address.

  • You will immediately receive an email to verify your email address (check your spam folder if there is a delay).
  • Confirm the email by clicking on the appropriate link or button in the email.

7. Your profile is now activated!

Note: You can request to delete your profile at any time by emailing [email protected] (this cannot be done from the settings menu).

Complete Setting Up Your Profile

Visit Settings as soon as possible (ASAP) after registration to set up your profile and update privacy settings if needed.

Nickname Directions

  1. Enter your desired nickname during registration.
  2. Fill in all other fields in the registration form, and click the Sign Up button.
  3. If the nickname you selected is available, you will receive confirmation on the screen.

What if the nickname is taken?

  1. If the nickname is already taken, you will receive the message “A user account with this nickname already exists.“
  2. Select a different nickname and click the Sign Up button.
  3. Repeat until you see confirmation on the screen.

Password Directions

  1. Enter your desired password in both the Password and Password Check fields, making sure that:
    • The passwords in both fields match.
    • The password has at least 8 characters.
    • The password includes an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.
  2. Fill in all other fields in the registration form and click the Sign Up button.
  3. If the information is filled in according to the instructions above, you will receive confirmation on the screen. Otherwise, you will receive instructions on the screen.

Newsletter Directions

  • The option I want to receive newsletters is selected by default.
  • If you prefer not to receive newsletters, uncheck the field.
  • If you leave it checked, you will receive about 2–3 newsletters per month.
  • You can change this preference in the future by clicking Unsubscribe in the newsletter (this option is not available in the settings menu).
