Slow cookers are very popular and easy to use since you can adopt many meals for them and let food prepare even if you are not at home. You can buy very inexpensive crock pots which will do the job just fine or you can pay a little extra for a fancier version. The major difference is that you can preset the time on a model to start and stop cooking and keep food warm, so it doesn’t overcook. For any family it is best to have two: one small and one large, depending on how big the meal.
