1. Bacon preparation:

1.1.

Dice bacon.

1.2.

Preheat fry pan on medium-high heat and add bacon.

1.3. Then cook until done (your reach your desired cook level).

Note:
If the bacon stick to pan, consider adding some frying oil.

1.4.

Place bacon on the plate for the later step and reserve drippings.

2. Sauté

2.1. Preheat fry pan on medium-high heat with 1- 2 TBSP of drippings and add:

3 cloves of garlic – grated
2 – 3 shallots – chopped

And cook with occasional stirring until soft (about 1- 2 minutes).

2.2.

Add cabbage in handfuls, allowing each handful to cook down somewhat before adding the next batch.

2.3.

Season with salt and pepper and stir well.

3. Braise:

3.1.

Cover dish and allow heat/steam to cook the cabbage down.

3.2.

Stir frequently to ensure all ingredients combined.

4. Final:

4.1.

Add bacon and stir well.

4.2. Drizzle with:

Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (adjust if needed)
Splash of apple cider vinegar (adjust if needed)

4.3.

Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.

4.4.

Serve and Enjoy!
