1. Ingredients Preparation:

  • Pell, slice, or mince garlic cloves.
  • Juice and zest one lemon.
  • Cube butter.
  • Prepare garnish vegetables – lemon slices and parsley (optional).

2. Preparation:

  • Place chicken thighs in a multifunction slow cooker or slow cooker.
  • Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • Add lemon zest, fresh garlic, cubed butter, and lemon juice.
  • Add the chicken broth around the sides of the chicken. Be careful not to wash off the seasoning.

Cover Multifuntion slow cooker or slow cooker.

a. For a multifunction slow cooker with boneless chicken thighs:

Set it to manual for 6 minutes if seared beforehand, 8 minutes if not seared, and 10 minutes if frozen.

b. For a multifunction slow cooker with bone-in chicken thighs:

Set to manual for 8 minutes if seared beforehand, 10 minutes if not seared, and 15 minutes if frozen

B. Slow cooker:

For a slow cooker, cook 3-4 hours on high, 6-8 hours on low.
