Let’s start the preparation of Creamy Spicy Prawn Spaghetti by preparing the prawns.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet (fry pan) over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in chili flakes and smoked paprika, cooking briefly to release their flavors.
  • Add prawns, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque.

2. Cook the Spaghetti:

  • Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente.
  • Reserve 2 TBSP of pasta water, then drain and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  • In the same skillet (fry pan), reduce heat to low and pour in the cream.
  • Stir gently, scraping up any browned bits from the pan for added flavor.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return prawns to the skillet and then add the the reserved pasta water.

4. Serve Creamy Spicy Prawn Spaghetti:

  • Add the spaghetti, and toss to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, chili flakes and parmesan cheese for a fresh touch.
