Cooks Chart

The Cooks Chart is a ranking system for CookingHub users where they compete for the best position. Whether you publish recipes for fun or are an influencer, the Cooks Chart adds an extra dimension to publishing recipes on CookingHub.

Basics

  • The lower the number on the Cooks Chart, the better your position.
  • Chefs with the lowest numbers will rank higher on the chart, leading to more exposure, such as increased visibility on the Cooks Chart, more promotion and visibility for their recipes, and the possibility of being promoted on our social media.
  • Results update automatically every 15 minutes.

What Affects Your Cooks Chart Position

  • Date of profile creation: The sooner you create your profile, the better your starting position.
  • Number of published recipes: Submitted and approved recipes that are currently on CookingHub (not deleted or moved to private recipes).
  • Popularity of your recipes: Number of views and reviews.

To compete in the Cooks Chart on CookingHub, you need:

  • An account on cookinghub.com (create a free lifetime account here).
  • To be logged in.
  • A public profile (default option). To have a public profile, the option No must be selected for the question “Private Profile?” in settings (read more here).
  • At least one published recipe (submitted and approved, currently available on CookingHub, and not deleted or moved to private recipes).

Badges

  • Everyone who creates an account will receive a badge that will be visible on their main profile.
  • Right after registration, you will receive the Newcomer badge, and as you publish more recipes, you will start receiving higher badges.

Resident Chef badge

  • Aside from the regular badges, CookingHub also has a Resident Chef badge.
  • It is granted only to a limited number of users after they submit a special request and receive approval.
  • If you are a successful content creator and believe you would be a good fit for receiving the Resident Chef badge, please send your request to [email protected].

Don’t Want to Participate in the Cooks Chart?

  • Important: Every new profile is set to public by default and participates in CookingHub’s Cooks Chart.
  • Set your profile to private (select Yes for the question “Private Profile?” in settings).
  • Switching to a private profile can be reversed at any time.
