Cook, Learn, and Share to Fight Hunger.

We Are the First of Its Kind

We want to make a difference by operating CookingHub, a modern and user-friendly community recipe platform. Our recipe platform welcomes everyone, from home cooks to professional chefs, encouraging them to share and publish recipes, save other people’s recipes, follow other chefs, write reviews, and more.

We believe that food is a universal language, and by fostering a sense of community around it, we can connect people from all walks of life not just to enjoy food and everything around it but also to fight hunger (read more about our charitable mission below).

Tom Slepicka (founder of CookingHub and the CookingHub Foundation) first started publishing his recipes on his blog, cookingwithfamily.com. In 2020, he saw the potential to create a community recipe platform where everyone could enjoy and share recipes: CookingHub.

While CookingHub was being developed, the idea to establish a hunger-fighting charity that would operate the platform arose, and the CookingHub Foundation was established.

Tom’s family’s past struggles with hunger drive his commitment to charitable goals.

CookingHub Is A Powerful Tool In The Fight Against Hunger

Beyond just sharing recipes, CookingHub is a powerful tool in the fight against hunger. We engage the community in the fight against hunger by spreading awareness about hunger issues, educating the community, and donating a significant part of our proceeds to leading hunger-fighting charities. Our current partner is No Kid Hungry.

Just your presence will make a BIG difference.

Free for All: CookingHub’s Commitment to Accessibility

The goal of our platform is to always be free for all users, regardless of their income. Our platform is designed to generate operational revenue from advertising, sales commissions from affiliate programs, and other similar channels. This revenue, along with donations and grants, will allow us to operate our platform, spread awareness, create educational programs for the CookingHub community, and enable us to donate to leading hunger-fighting charities.
