Distribution of the Proceeds

The Board of Directors of CookingHub Foundation voted on September 8, 2023 on the foundation budget, which also includes the distribution of proceeds to designated hunger-fighting organizations that have established partnerships with CookingHub Foundation.

The total proceeds designated for hunger-fighting organizations currently go to our partner, No Kid Hungry, one of the leading organizations in the fight against hunger.

Generation of Proceeds

  • Operation of www.cookinghub.com
    • Advertising sales
    • Income from content, e.g., live cooking classes, video classes, ebooks, and others (It will be free of charge, but those who can have the option to pay a recommended price, which will be understood as an additional donation).
    • Other sales and sales commission
  • Donations
    • Including income from fundraising activities as well as donations from those who can donate: individuals, companies, and endowments.
    • Most common: General fundraising and donations
    • Less common: Donations towards operational expenses (donors can optionally donate strictly towards the foundations’ operational expenses –  if this option is available, it will be always a secondary option).
  • Grants
    • Foundations and goverment grants

Notes:

  • Only revenue categories that include the distribution of proceeds to hunger-fighting charities are included in the following overview.
  • Categories that are not included generate proceeds solely for the operation of the CookingHub Foundation, which allows our existence and mission fulfillment.
  • Most fundraisers are conducted with the general focus of fighting hunger, resulting in the following distribution: 75% of the proceeds are distributed to hunger-fighting charities, 20% goes to CookingHub Foundation operations, and the remaining 5% goes to the CookingHub Foundation investment account to secure the future of the organization.
  • Donors who deeply believe in our mission and want us to grow faster and generate even greater proceeds to make a bigger difference in the fight against hunger will be allowed to donate solely to our operations in selected fundraisers. This means that 95% of the donation will go to our operations, and the remaining amount will go to our investment account. Please note that this option will only be available if our foundation is missing resources to cover operational expenses. It will be a secondary option; the primary option will always be the one mentioned above.

75% donation to hunger-fighting organizations, with the remaining 20% allocated to operational expenses and 5% to the investment account.

 

Contributions – Corporate (OT & R)

75% donation to hunger-fighting organizations, with the remaining 20% allocated to operational expenses and 5% to the investment account.

 

Contributions – Endowment (OT & R)

75% donation to hunger-fighting organizations, with the remaining 20% allocated to operational expenses and 5% to the investment account.
