Plant-Based Sushi with Chef Marisa
Chef Marisa Baggett trained at the California Sushi Academy in Los Angeles, California. The first part of her sushi career was spent working in seafood driven sushi bars. After learning about seafood sustainability, she began advocating for the use of sustainable seafood species, teaching sushi classes, and writing cookbooks.
After over two decades of working with seafood driven sushi, Chef Marisa made the decision to focus on creating plant based sushi and Japanese cuisine. She believes the best sushi delights our palate and nurtures the planet.
