Plant-Based Sushi with Chef Marisa

Chef Marisa Baggett trained at the ​California Sushi Academy in Los Angeles, ​California. The first part of her sushi career ​was spent working in seafood driven sushi ​bars. After learning about seafood ​sustainability, she began advocating for the ​use of sustainable seafood species, ​teaching sushi classes, and writing ​cookbooks.

After over two decades of working with ​seafood driven sushi, Chef Marisa made the ​decision to focus on creating plant ​based sushi and Japanese cuisine. She believes the best sushi ​delights our palate and nurtures the planet.
